Jen loved my Dahlia lace and silk dress from the moment she tried it on. Despite considering changing the all-over scallop lace for a more delicate lace design, in the end she decided to go with the original.
We did change Dahlia’s boat neckline for a rounded version, as Jen preferred the round T-shirt style neckline of my Peony lace top.
Jen and Chris were married at The Cricket Inn in Sheffield, and chose 13th November for their wedding day – their baby girl Freyja’s first birthday. Freyja made the most beautiful teeny bridesmaid, and had her own little party in the afternoon complete with a hedgehog birthday cake, before being whisked off home to bed by her gran so that her parents could let their hair down for the evening.
